This exhibition marks the completion of Nana Shiomi’s epic woodcut print series ‘One Hundred Views of Mitate’. It will be accompanied by the publication of ‘Nana Shiomi, This Side and The Other Side, Woodcuts 1996 – 2016’
Nana Shiomi makes contemporary woodcut prints, often placing Japanese icons on a stage, or at the centre of her imagery. She studied at Tama Art University, Tokyo and the Royal College of Art, London. Shiomi lives and works in London.
